The Bryant University Men’s Basketball team continues to have its best season in program history. After starting the season with two tough blowouts at #1 Indiana and at Providence College, Bryant caught fire and vaulted its way to the top of the Northeast Conference. Led by Sophomore guard Dyami Starks (18 ppg), Junior forward Alex Francis (16.8 ppg, 8.3 rpg), and Senior point guard Frankie Dobbs (13.4 ppg, 4.5 apg), the Bulldogs are having their most impressive season yet.

After starting 0-2, Bryant won its home opener against UNH and then picked up their first ever win against Brown University. Bryant pulled off one of the biggest upsets in school history by winning at Boston College in its next game. After a loss on December 10th at Navy, Bryant reeled off an 8 game winning streak including wins at Lehigh and at Robert Morris. After their streak was snapped at Sacred Heart, Bryant suffered just their second home loss of the season in a heart fought 79-78 defeat at the hands of defending NEC champ LIU Brooklyn. However, they quickly rebounded by winning back to back games against NEC opponents and set a new program record with 8 conference wins.

As a student at Bryant University, I am a huge fan of the basketball team. I’d like to know if any of you guys root for any college teams or college sports in general. Let me know in the comments down below, and don’t forget to like and share this post with others.
